Ashaba Rinah is a shining example of resilience and determination. As a recent beneficiary of PSM Charity’s Style & Beauty Academy (SBA), her journey highlights the critical role of vocational training in overcoming economic challenges.
Operating her tailoring business from Mbalwa, Ashaba faced numerous obstacles, including an outdated manual sewing machine that hindered her productivity. Through SBA, she received a sewing machine from MTN Uganda, which has significantly improved her workflow and service quality.
"Switching to a more reliable sewing machine has allowed me to meet all my clients' needs promptly. My business has grown, and I feel more confident in managing my work," Ashaba explains. Additionally, she expressed the need for startup capital to purchase necessary materials and further expand her business.
To fully maximize her potential, Ashaba is seeking an electrical sewing machine and additional capital. These resources will enable her to handle more complex projects, increase production capacity, and invest in marketing strategies to attract a larger client base.
