Nabugabo Jessica is a dedicated entrepreneur who has greatly benefited from PSM Charity’s Style and Beauty Academy (SBA). Her story illustrates the significant strides made possible through vocational training and supportive partnerships.
Journey and Impact || Operating her tailoring business from Kigoogwa, Jessica faced challenges with an old manual sewing machine that limited her productivity. The sewing machine donated by MTN Uganda has revolutionized her work process, allowing her to produce high-quality garments more efficiently.
"The sewing machine I received has significantly improved my workflow. I can now take on more orders and increase my income, which has positively impacted my family’s well-being," Jessica expresses. Additionally, Jessica has empowered four other youths in her community, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes shared growth and success.
Future Aspirations
To further enhance her workshop and expand her business, Jessica is seeking an electrical sewing machine and additional startup capital. These resources will enable her to handle more complex designs, increase production capacity, and invest in marketing to attract more clients.
Namugabo Jessica’s success story is a powerful example of how the Sew & Script Program can transform lives and communities. With continued support from partners like MTN Uganda, PSM Charity is committed to empowering more women and youth, fostering sustainable livelihoods, and building stronger, more resilient communities.
Thank you so much for always supporting us, standing with us in our straggle that we always go through to sustain our families, God bless you.
